Tamra Judge from The Real Housewives of Orange County recently revealed the reason behind her exit. The reality star had been with the show for 12 seasons and walked away from returning in season 15 after she was demoted to a friend role. After declining filming three episodes for the new season, Judge is confirming Andy Cohen is telling her she will be back for season 16.

The fitness guru was a guest on Jeff Lewis Live where she revealed Cohen is telling her she is returning to RHOC next year. Judge said that the Watch What Happens Live host told her if she got any offers for another reality show, to run it by him first.

“It was a job to me and when this job ended, I never thought, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m going to get another show,’ because I don’t have agents,” Judge said on the SiriusXM show. “Well, I’ve been approached. Andy told me to hold off on signing any kind of contract, run it past him first cause he says that I’ll be back next year.”

Lewis said that he believes Judge was fired from the Bravo reality series because they are trying to cut costs.

“It’ll be half of what you make today,” Lewis told Judge about the money that they would offer her to return to RHOC. “I think it’s all about money [and] that advertisers are not paying what they used to. I don’t think it’s as profitable as it was and I think they have to go through and they have to cost-cut.”

Tamra Judge breaks silence on reason leaving ‘RHOC’ was a good thing

In a recent interview, Judge said that a big factor that she was ok with leaving RHOC was her ex-husband’s cancer diagnosis. The TV personality had found out days before filming the reunion episode for season 14 and was planning on quitting during the show.

“You can tell my behavior at the reunion was very subdued,” Judge told People. “I didn’t want to fight with anybody. My mind was not there at all. I hadn’t told production about Simon, so they didn’t fully understand what was wrong with me. But I told [costar Shannon Beador], ‘I feel like this is my last season.’ In my gut, I knew I wouldn’t come back.”

Judge didn’t end up saying anything because Simon Barney wanted to keep details private. When it came time to renew contracts, Judge was only offered three episodes to wrap up her storyline.

“Those three episodes wouldn’t make any sense to me because I am very much a person who is very honest on the show,” Judge added. “At the time, Simon did not want to come forward with it, so I could not talk about it. It didn’t make any sense for me to be like, ‘I’m sorry, I’ve been very busy now, gotta go,’ because it would be a lie. I couldn’t be honest. I couldn’t be real.”

Judge will not focus on her businesses and will wait and see if she has a future on RHOC once again.
