In new legal documents obtained by The Blast, Kenny Heslep is asking the court to force his wife, who is the U.S. Representative for California’s 25th congressional district, to pay a monthly spousal support.
In the documents, Heslep says he is a regional manager for the non-profit PATH, which stands for, People Assisting The Homeless," in Los Angeles and his income is zero dollars.
Also, Heslep says his situation is bad enough that he only has $205 in his checking account and a mere $10,000 in a retirement account.
