Adhi, who did a small rap in the film ‘Ethir Neechal’ under the music of Anirudh Ravichander, is not trained to rap professionally. During his school days, Adhi’s parents bought him a new computer. They also got him the software with the program Fruity Loops in it. Adhi started observing the beats that were produced by the program for fun and self-trained to rap on those beats.

At first, Adhi did not plan to enter the film industry. He wanted to continue as an independent artist, but after some time, he stepped into cinema as well as music alone would not get him enough income to sustain. Adhi refused an offer by popular producer CV Kumar, but later when director Sundar C gave him another offer, he gave into it and signed the movie ‘Aambala’ starring Vishal in the lead role.

Adhi’s long time dream is to release an independent album, and he has been working on it. He recently even confirmed the same and said that the announcement would come as soon as the works were done. Meanwhile, he is working on his films as a musician and an actor simultaneously, and his recent release ‘Naan Sirithaal’ received good reviews from the audience.
