khris middleton named eastern conference all-star reserve
I’m not sure it was ever really all that in doubt, especially with how he’s been playing since returning from an early season thigh contusion, but Khris Middleton has formally been named as an All-Star!
Making his 2nd #NBAAllStar appearance… Khris Middleton of the @Bucks.
Drafted as the 39th pick in 2012 out of Texas A&M, @Khris22m is averaging 20.2 PPG, 5.9 RPG and 3.9 APG for the Bucks this season. pic.twitter.com/LWTPk4c6Qd — 2020 NBA All-Star (@NBAAllStar) January 31, 2020
When Khris signed his (slightly less than) max contract last summer there were some concerns how, if at all, he’d be able to play up to the dollars going his way. Through 2019-2020, he’s answered those questions quite emphatically having rounded fully into the type of second star the Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo need.
