‘90 Day Fiancé’: Big Ed and Natalie Joining ‘The Single Life’ Season 2
Two of 90 Day Fiancé’s most controversial cast members are joining 90 Day: The Single Life season 2. On Tuesday, TLC announced that Big Ed and Natalie are joining the upcoming season of the hit 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, which focuses on cast members jumping back into the dating scene to find love again.
Ed first rose to fame on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, when he traveled to the Philippines to meet Rose, after they connected online. She ended up breaking up with him, and Ed later starred in the first season of 90 Day: The Single Life, in which he pursued Liz. But the relationship was rocky. During the 90 Day: The Single Life tell-all in May, Ed and Liz said they broke up. Liz emotionally said Ed rushed their relationship, and that he went to Las Vegas and hung out with other women just two days after their breakup. Ed didn’t deny his actions, and despite his fellow 90 Day Fiancé cast members urging Liz to move on, she expressed that she wanted to get back together with him.
“I’ve missed Ed a lot this last month,” Liz acknowledged at the tell-all. “As far as the future, we were talking about it earlier, I still love him. I still want to be with him, but he’s pushed me away so many times that I told him if we were giving it a fair chance, it has to be a fair chance, and I would want to go to therapy together and cut out our drinking.”
And it looks like the two have made up. Last month, TMZ reported that Liz and Ed are engaged and weren’t shy about telling other club-goers at a Santa Barbara, California, nightclub.
Meanwhile, Natalie had a nasty breakup from her husband, Mike, after cameras followed her moving to rural Washington from Ukraine. During the tell-all that aired in August – and after a season filled with explosive fights between Mike and Natalie – fellow 90 Day Fiancé star Jovi outed Natalie and said she showed up to visit him and his wife, Yara, in New Orleans with another man. Mike was shocked and said he was filing for divorce from Natalie. He also said he was cutting off her access to his bank card.
“If you think you can find better woman than me and be happy, I will only pray for you, honestly,” she replied.
But Natalie was much more emotional about the situation backstage, and worried about whether or not she could stay in America.
“I know myself, I’m a good person, but I’m tired to fight,” she told cameras, wiping away tears. “So, I don’t care, I don’t give a sh**. He has to file for divorce, and I will say ‘OK,’ and we just part. There is no way for me to stay if he files for divorce. F**king crazy, I don’t know what to say anymore.”
Joining Ed and Natalie on the upcoming season of 90 Day: The Single Life are Stephanie, Syngin – who recently split from his wife, Tania – and Colt’s mom, Debbie. Season 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life begins streaming Friday, Nov. 12 on Discovery+ with a special, two-hour premiere.

‘90 Day: The Single Life’ Season 2: Meet the Cast
It’s never too late to find love! TLC and Discovery+ is bringing back 90 Day: The Single Life for a second season, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm. The season will follow seven 90 Day Fiancé alums as they try to leave their failed romances in the past and start new with bigger and stronger relationships.
“They must navigate the modern dating world and overcome cringe-worthy encounters, ghosting and, as is truly fitting for the franchise, traveling to other continents for a first date,” the press release reveals. “For the first time in 90 Day history, two singles from different 90 Day relationships connect and spark an interest in each other after ending things with their American exes.”
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days alum Stephanie Matto was announced as the first cast member during the Sunday, October 3, episode of 90 Day: Bares All. Stephanie, 39, first appeared on season 4 of the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff with then-girlfriend Erika Owens from Australia. The women broke up on the May 2020 finale.
She has since returned to the U.S. after many highs and low, including managing her diagnosis with aplastic anemia, a life-long and life-threatening condition that weakens her immune system and can cause bone marrow failure. Now in remission, she’s looking to end her celibacy after two and a half years and find the right man or woman for her.
During the season, Stephanie came out to her family as bisexual, which wasn’t an easy thing to do on TV.
“I previously have dated women casually, gone out on dates — things would tend to fizzle out and I always just felt like it would just be easier to continue introducing men to my family and just have my family on a need to know basis,” the YouTuber told Us exclusively in March 2020. “But I think one of the important things that I go into in the show is coming out to my family, and trying to embrace who I am finally after keeping it hidden for so long.”
The New York native added that she has many reasons for waiting to share her true self with her closest loved ones.
“A lot of people might wonder why did I decide to do it now and on television? It’s pretty crazy, but I’m a pretty crazy person,” Stephanie told Us. “I felt like this was like ripping the Band-Aid off, like, the ultimate coming out. You can’t back out now, you just got to do it. You got to jump right in.”
Season 2 of The Single Life premieres on Discovery+ on Friday, November 12. Scroll down to meet the cast:
‘90 Day Fiancé’: Stephanie to Star in ‘The Single Life’ Season 2
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 star Stephanie Matto is ready to find love again. On Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Bares All, Stephanie revealed that she’ll be part of season 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life, which follows past 90 Day Fiancé stars jumping into the dating scene again. Season 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life premieres Friday, Nov. 12, on Discovery+.
Stephanie made history on her season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, as part of the first LGBTQ couple to be featured on the show. Stephanie traveled to Australia to meet her online girlfriend, Erika, though the two eventually broke up after multiple tearful fights.
Stephanie, who is bisexual, said she would be dating both men and women on The Single Life. She also said that she’s been celibate for two and a half years and that she never had sex with Erika. She said she had actually never had an enjoyable sexual experience.
“I mean, by myself,” she said with a laugh. “I’ve had enjoyable sexual experiences by myself but never with other people, and that’s also a problem. It’s weird because people perceive me as a very sexual being because of my social media. And I get it – I like to dress sexy, I like to feel sexy – there’s a difference between sexy and sexual.”
As for her breakup with Erika, she said the two had so many issues she couldn’t pinpoint what went wrong in their relationship.
“Listen, it was a recipe, and there were several ingredients involved in that recipe for disaster,” she noted.
A preview clip of season 2 of The Single Life was shown, in which she went on an awkward date with a man and bluntly told him she was bisexual.
“I think about some of the things I’ve done, and I’m cringing already,” she teased about what to expect on this season of the hit 90 Day Fiancé spinoff.
ET spoke with Stephanie’s ex, Erika, last June, when she responded to some viewers’ skepticism about Stephanie’s bisexuality.
“Honestly, I can only speak for my experience and who I am,” Erika said. “Sexuality is a very personal thing, and sometimes it takes, like, exploring yourself to be able to figure that out, you know? It sucks that at some points, it felt like the figuring out of things was at my expense, but I’m not gonna sit here and say that she is something or she isn’t, because that’s her own personal journey.”
She also revealed that they didn’t spend a lot of time together.
“Honestly, we didn’t sleep in the same room or even the same hotel room more than four nights, which was … you know, I didn’t actually get to spend a lot of time with her other than what you guys have seen,” she said of Stephanie’s visit. “You know, she is fun or whatever, but at the same time I was very taken aback by her problems with some of the dates or, you know, with my friends. … When the good times were good, they were fun, but we just didn’t have very many of them.”
